This is Kyo from Furuba. Not to be mistake for Ichigo from Bleach. I know the clothes I drew are similar, but it was unintentional. I didn't remember that Ichigo wears a black kimono with a white under part until much later. I'm hoping the pissed orange kitty on Kyo's shoulder there will be a giveaway to Kyo's identity.

I had a bit of fun deciding how to arrange the composition and I was inspired by and her selection of stock images. I used this one in particular: [link] and I altered the kimono to make it simpler for me to draw. I think I'll be borrowing a few again for future projects.

Some notes about the piece.
- Don't ask me why I put Kyo in a kimono. The original piece I drew my influence from looked so natural and nice, so I left it alone. One of my goals is to be able to draw full garments complete with shading and modelling without reference images.
- I'm not pleased with the kitty's paw because it looks highly fake. I didn't have a good reference image of an orange tabby cat's paw, so I had to improvise.
- I'm not too settled about Kyo's hair. It doesn't seem to match his skin, but attempts to alter it resulted in even faker looking hair, so I left it alone.
